Very nice artwork Kerry! You did a beautiful job. I love the mysterious and dreamy mood. You did a good job shading his face. I know it must have been difficult with that kind of lightsource.
I think it's a little dark though. The light from the lamp could have been even stronger in my opinion.

Very nice work. I really love the lighting and the mood. Maybe the colors from the sun set/rise(?) could have a bit m ore prominence/reflection on some of the back trees?

I love how the background is painted in these beautiful, vibrant colors and the character itself is monochromatic. .. It really adds to the dreaminess of the picture. The black space behind the character is a little awkward, though. Perhaps illuminating it a bit would make it more cohesive.

Some tweaks: added a bit of warmth to the furthest trees (good eye, purplerose!), decreased the opacity of the figure's shadow on the wall (hopefully that will open up this area for others to see), and made the glow around the lantern a touch brighter.
I realize it may seem too dark on some monitors, but I figure the only practical thing I can do right now is make it look right on my display.

You've definitely captured some kind of weirdness with the colors and lighting. I do feel there is too much black on the right which interferes with the composition.
