Since I am a devotee of tea, when I was given a class assignment to create a product-related illustration, I naturally chose Celestial Seasonings.

CS PS2, roughly 7x14"

I like it a lot, my only complaint would be that from the advertising point of view, the subject features might not be as "celestial" as it could. Maybe a more angelic face would do some good.
Anyways, it´s great work, I like it´s contrast and the image distribution works quite well. Nice choice of lettering also

I agree that her face could be a bit more feminine and perhaps her hair longer and more flowing. I think the tea cup looks a bit flat and could use some illumination/reflection.
I like the image and suggest you send it to Celestial Seasonings. Perhaps they'll take an interest in the image and in you as an artist.

Thank you, my fellow gfxers. I made a few changes based on your feedback and some comments I got elsewhere. Biggest thing was adding a little more contrast to the teacup as you suggested, Michelle, and I think it's a definite improvement!
But, boy, am I sick of looking at this. I need a vacation from it.

Very nice rendering. I really like the lighting, looks a bit off on the teapot though. I think you should try a different color for the text though.

Fantastic!! This is absolutely beautiful. If I were to change only one thing - it would be to "freshen" up the womans face. She looks a little dead right now.

But all together this is gorgeous! +10
